Step #4: Rediscover Your Confidence Unfortunately, most physicians are not familiar with the research on the safety of ultralow-dose hydrocortisone. In fact, I had been so indoctrinated about the dangers of prednisone (cortisone) in medical school that it took me three years of researching the scientific literature to get comfortable with this approach. But the research showed that using doses of 20 milligrams of hydrocortisone (equivalent to about 4 milligrams of prednisone) or less daily was quite safe overall. It was the higher doses that were toxic. The article is out of print but available from online vendors for about $60. The article is well worth it, if needed for peace of mind. He routinely would give patients with CFS/FMS 20 milligrams of cortisol daily over the long term, and he did so safely. Most often, I use 5 to 15 milligrams daily. Most people find that either taking it all in the morning, or about two-thirds in the morning and one-third at lunchtime works the best. Praising her false and grandiose attitudes and behaviors is like throwing your money down a hole. Don't waste your love and support. Place it where it bears good fruit. Sleeping seven to eight hours per day is usually enough, but there are certain times when you need more time to rest. Indulge yourself by sleeping in early or staying for one more hour in bed--if you are not missing other important activities or other responsibilities. Taking brief power naps during the daytime has also been proven to be healing for empaths. Strategy #11: Step away from social media platforms and the news. A regular timeout from social media and the news is a necessary part of self-care routines for empaths. The content from those websites and the news of the day are observed to be likely triggers to the intense emotional reactions of empaths. Contrary to popular belief, empaths do not need to actually see or be with another person to absorb his or her energy. Reading their posts or listening to the news about the sufferings of other people are more than enough to cause a negative impact on the wellbeing of an empath. Therefore, you should include in your schedule a social media and news fasting every week. The awareness that you can rediscover yourself is the nurturer from within to assure the growth of your self-confidence in the calling of healing. As you lean in with the curiosity to know, you will remember you have potential and can rise to be the healer you know yourself to be. Step #5: Align with Your Servant's Heart Once you rise as your Ideal Self, you will recognize the value and need for the shadow experiences. Maybe it is true that everything happens for a reason, including when, where, and how you are born into this world. Embrace every experience, choice, and action as invaluable with immense lessons that all play a part in moving forward with your purpose. Step #6: Do What You Love and Watch Abundance Follow Take charge, take on the mantle of being a healer without any further qualm. Own it now.

Although I prefer natural products to pharmaceuticals, in this situation I am comfortable adding ultralow-dose standardized bioidentical cortisol to the natural therapies in those with CFS/FMS. Step #7: Impostor Syndrome: Two Steps Forward, One Step Back A little reminder: as we are confined to work within the parameters of this earthly journey and contracted to learn handicapped by the veil of forgetfulness, we must continuously contend with the law of opposition. Again, the resistance that comes with this is the momentum to keep on going, even if, and most likely, you lose a step for every two steps forward. Now you know to just keep on trekking. Step #8: Who Am I as an Authentic Healer? At the end of the day, the greatest catalyst to remembering you are not a fraud - you are genuine and meant to rise - is the love you have for yourself! After all, you can only love another to the extent you love you.

There is no other way nor shortcutting this. DHEA and DHEA-S Although what this hormone does is not yet clear, DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is the most abundant hormone produced by the adrenal cortex. If it is low, you will feel poor. DHEA-S (dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate) levels normally decline with age but appear to drop prematurely in CFS/FMS patients. Patients often feel much better when their DHEA-S levels are brought to the mid-normal range for a twenty-nine-year-old. Most women need 5 to 10 milligrams a day (already present in the Adrenaplex) and men need 25 to 50 milligrams each morning. In women, half of their body's testosterone is made from adrenal DHEA, so taking DHEA can also correct low testosterone levels. But more is not better. If you have side effects, such as acne or darkening of facial hair in women, this suggests the DHEA dose is too high. Interestingly, for women with autoimmune illnesses such as lupus, 200 milligrams a day of DHEA significantly improved how they felt. I don't understand why a loving God would allow kids to get sick and die, and tsunamis to destroy everything, and poverty to be so devastating. I thought for a while, then said, Yes, those are very, very sad and incomprehensible things. Absolutely. I often feel the same way. And they are things we won't know the why about until the other side of the grave. But there's another side to the question that is just as important. On one side is the sheer lack of any apparent justice or logic in the universe -- all of those things that you've just mentioned don't make sense.
